Daisy Richards is a Twenty-year-old violist from Dunblane, Scotland. Before joining the Royal Academy of Music in September 2023, she was studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and St Marys Music School in Edinburgh under Felix Tanner, where she took part in masterclasses with some of the worlds top class violists - Tabea Zimmerman, Lawrence Power and Louise Lansdowne and quartet masterclasses and side-by-side projects with the Brodsky Quartet and the Maxwell Quartet. She is a regular performer all over the country and a regular performer at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival. She now studies with Martin Outram at the Academy and plays on a John Dilworth made in 2008.
